Privacy Policy

This policy applies to www.siddharthbisht.com, the personal portfolio of Siddharth Bisht. Throughout, “I” and “me” mean Siddharth Bisht, and “you” means anyone visiting the site.

Nothing is collected from you automatically by me. There is no account system, no contact form, no newsletter signup and no advertising on this site.

The only information I ever hold is what you choose to send me — if you email me, message me on WhatsApp, or reach out through a social profile linked here, I keep that conversation and whatever you put in it.

Nothing. The site keeps no state in your browser — nothing in localStorage, nothing in session storage. It used to remember a light or dark theme choice; the site is light only now, so there is no longer anything to remember.

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts of its own.

The site is served by a hosting provider that, like any web host, processes standard server request data — IP address, browser user agent, requested page and timestamp — to deliver pages and protect against abuse. This is handled by the host under its own privacy terms, and I do not use it to build any profile of you.

Links out to third parties are subject to their policies, not this one. These include:

• WhatsApp, when you use the “Connect with me” button
• GitHub and LinkedIn, from the profile links
• Any venture, project or press site linked from these pages

Correspondence you send me is kept for as long as it is useful to the conversation or the work it relates to, and deleted when it is not. If you would rather I delete an exchange sooner, ask and I will.

You can ask me what information of yours I hold, ask for a copy of it, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. There is no process to go through — just email me and I will handle it directly.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect their information.

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be reflected here rather than announced individually.
